Datecs PP-50 Printer.

The Datecs PP-50 Portable Printer turns your PalmOS handheld computer into a fully equipped portable office.

The DATECS PP-50 for the HandEra, TRGpro, Palm III, Palm V, Palm Vx and Handspring Visor is a unique piece of portable equipment specially designed to cradle the world's most popular palm -size computers.

The DATECS PP-50 Printer is supplied with a software package containing three programs: DATECS Print Manager, DATECS Font Manager and DATECS Screen Pad. There are two other programs available : DATECS Screen Print and DATECS PalmPrint Emulator. All five of these programs are briefly described below. Datecs Print Manager is used to print data from the standard Palm applications - Date book, Address, ToDo, Memo as well as custom Notes and Barcodes.

Datecs Font Manager offers the option to download into the PalmPrinter PP-50 different fonts to make it print in your language as well as full graphic logo. In addition, by using the edit function, you can modify or create your own fonts!

Datecs Screen Pad is a freehand creative tool, useful for drawing sketches, rough illustrations and descriptions and for printing them out on the spot. In this way drawings can be directly printed out by tapping the lower right corner of the "Find" icon square or saved to the Palm's memory.

Datecs Screen Print allows the printing out of the exact screen images, generated by any PalmOS application or a selected part of it. The most recent version includes printing logo, header and footer, support for different-size displays, colour to black and white conversion and resizable images - fit to width or custom mode!

Datecs PalmPrint Emulator extends the possibility of PP-50 making it compatible with thousands of applications that uses PalmPrint(R) software by translating PalmPrint(R) to DATECS Palm Printer PP-50 compatible ones. Plus, PalmPrint Emulator gives you many print settings to make the printed form look exactly as you want.

The Datecs Printer is currently available in three versions. ALL come with rechargeable batteries, A 240volt power supply, software and manuals. There are versions for the Palm 111 series including the TRGpro & HandEra 330, A version for the Palm V and Vx and a version for the Handspring Visor.
