Where to get the Psion ER5 Emulator.

The Psion Emulator for use with the Revo, Series 5/5mx/7/netBook used to be downloaded for free from the Symbian DevNet site. Unfortunately neither Psion or Symbian are offering this free download anymore.

You used to be able apply to have a CD sent to you by Symbian. This was done via their web site and did cost a very reasonable £10.00.

Now if you require a copy of the Psion ER5 Emulator you will have to ask some kind soul who has a copy to make a copy for you and post it to you. Your next problem is actually finding someone who has the required CD. You can always try me !! Just contact me & I will try & help.

Unfortunately it is just not viable to put the emulator on this website for you to download or for us to e-mail it to you as it is over 20Mb BIG.

The Emulator allows you to view, alter, add and delete information on your PC and then put the altered data back into your Psion. For this you must also have PsiWin installed on you PC and have done a full backup.

You will have to alter slightly the .ini file for the emulator you have chosen to be able to see your data on your PC. This is very simple. We are happy to forward on the instructions to you. Please just ask for them. Just send us an e-mail. This is FREE.
