  • You must have your Data & Fax facility enabled by your airtime service provider in order to use the facilities via your mobile phone.

  • These 2 additional numbers are FREE on Vodafone, Cellnet, Orange & One2One.
  • You must install a Mobile Connectivity Software update provided by Psion on your Series 5mx.

The Ericsson also worked very well with the Phoneman Pro program by SG Software for the Psion range of computers. This allowed SMS messages to be composed on the Ericsson & then sent by the Psion & Ericsson via IR connection. SMS Messages received on the Ericsson can be read on the Psion again via cable connection. The address book in the Ericsson can also be downloaded to a Psion, altered and then uploaded back to the Ericsson. The program also allows multiple SMS messages to be sent to one recipient and then to be read in the correct sequence on the recipients phone so the problem of only 160 character long messages is a thing of the past. The program also allows multiple people to receive the same message.
