Camo: This is the camouflaged eTrex. Concealed beneath the new sportsman-friendly pattern is a compact, waterproof handheld GPS - among the smallest on the market. Measuring roughly 4"x 2"x1" and weighing less than 6 oz., this personal navigator is packed with all of the features of the original eTrex, plus a hunting and fishing calculator that provides optimal times of day to plan your sporting excursions. Summit: The eTrex Summit comes on the heels of the extremely popular eTrex, which was designed for both marine and recreation use. This new all-in-one navigation device for the outdoor enthusiast is the a combination GPS, altimeter, and electronic compass. The electronic compass provides bearing information when you're standing still and the altimeter determines precise altitude, so you can tell how high you've climbed and your rate of ascent. Venture: The eTrex Venture offers a worldwide database of cities and increased internal memory. The memory capacity of one megabyte allows the eTrex Venture to accept downloaded information from Garmin's new MapSource Points of Interests CD-ROM. Legend: The eTrex Legend is equipped with additional memory totaling 8 megabytes. The added memory allows the eTrex Legend to accept downloaded map data from Garmin's entire line of MapSource CD-ROMs. The European basemap contains lakes, rivers, cities, interstates, national and state highways, railroads and coastlines. Vista: The eTrex Vista combines a basemap of Europe with a barometric altimeter and electronic compass. The compass provides bearing information while you're standing still and the altimeter determines your precise altitude. The Venture, Legend & Vista models have an innovative rocker switch that allows quick and accurate panning, selection & enter functions. They come complete with a cable to interface with a PC.
