Compatible with the Compaq / hp iPAQ 3800, 3900, 5400 & H5500 series PDA's offers a high gain GPS antenna with increased sensitivity to recieve GPS signals.
The Navman 3100 has the ability to accept an optional external antenna.
The new upgradable GPS jacket allows you to download the latest drivers and almanacs from Navman's own website ensuring that you can stay up to date with the latest software developments for your navman GPS 3100.
Navman's outstanding design allows you to use a Compact Flash (CF) memory card instead of a more expensive Secure Digital (SD) memory cards for storage of maps and other data you may wish to carry with you.
You can combine the Navman GPS 3100 with optional software such as Pocket Streets that is included with the latest edition of Microsoft Autoroute 2004.
This software allows you to position yourself in 'real-time' on a map.
By purchasing software such as Navman 'Smart ST Pro you can truly experience Satellite Navigation for your vehicle. This will add turn-by-turn voice navigation features found normally in top of the range expensive cars and all of this can be yours for a fraction of the cost.
The Smart ST Pro software also offers you door to door routing and even tells you which roundabout exit you should take before you enter the roundabout itself.
Software will also become available shortly for off road use.
