3rd Party USB Adapter

We have had a large (enormous) demand for the PalmConnect USB kit.

We have also managed to source a third party manufacturer of the necessary cables and software for both the PC & MAC. We have tested the cable & software to the best of our ability & found the quality to be good.

We are of course still trying, and managing, to source and supply a limited number of PalmConnect USB Kits. We are still keeping the price of these specially imported kits the same as UK sourced supplies.

We are therefore happy to offer our customers two possible options ...

Option 1: Wait until we can get supply you with the PalmConnect USB kit.

Option 2: Let us supply you with our third party product.

The price for the kits is £36.20 plus Carriage & VAT. As usual we use a "Next Day" delivery service.

Please note that BOTH the PalmConnect USB kit & the third party Kits are for use with Mac & Windows 98. There are problems with Windows95. This apparantly does not support USB connection unless it has a specific update pre-installed.

This cable is NOT the same as you would use for a modem etc. It is specifically for connecting PDA's such as Palm, WinCE & Sharp Zaurus & Wizards. The polarity is different to a normal USB converter.

Both the PalmConnect USB Kit & the third party kit consist of a CD rom with software for PC (W98) and Mac and also a cable with a 9-pin plug on one end and a USB plug on the other.

The third party adapter kit is recommended as being good & suitable on Palm's own web site.
