TRGpro Configuration for
connection to an Ericsson T39 mobile phone via IR Modem Configuration
- Tap Home button on your
TRGpro.
- Tap the Prefs Icon.
- Choose Connection from the drop down
menu (Top right).
- Tap New.
- Enter Name as "IR to Mobile
Phone".
- Connection method choose - IrCOMM to
Modem.
- Dialling - TouchTone.
- Volume - Low.
- Tap OK.
Dial-Up
Configuration
- Tap Home button on your
TRGpro.
- Tap the Prefs Icon.
- Choose Network from the drop down
menu (Top Right).
- Tap Menu Icon( Lower touch button on
Left of screen).
- Tap New.
- Service - Enter Your Providers
Name.
- User Name - Enter Your User
Name.
- Password - Enter your
Password.
- Connection - Choose IR to Mobile
Phone.
- Phone - Enter the Dial-Up Number to
your internet provider.
- Tap OK.
Important
Notes.
- You will also need a web browser &
E-mail program. These can be purchased together in a box - The Palm Mobile
Internet Kit or downloaded from the Internet.
- You must have your Data & Fax facility
enabled by your airtime service provider in order to use the facilities via
your mobile phone.
- You will know if Data & Fax have been
enabled by your airtime provider as you will have 2 additional mobile phone
numbers.These 2 additional numbers are FREE on Vodafone, Cellnet, Orange &
One2One.
- Before using your Ericsson T39 & Palm
you MUST activate the IR on your mobile phone FIRST.
